A few weeks ago I was watching one of my favorite movies, City Slickers. I guess it’s now an “oldie”, but a really fun movie to watch with the family over the holidays!
I love the scene where Billy Crystal's character, Mitch, is alone with Curly, played by Jack Palance. Curly is giving Mitch some life advice.

Today is Giving Tuesday (just in case you weren’t keeping track, Giving Tuesday is the Tuesday after Cyber Monday, Small Business Saturday, Black Friday, all following Thanksgiving Thursday).

I wanted to share a letter I wrote to my partner David Rappaport’s daughter, Leah. At 18 months old Leah was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum. Two weeks ago she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Mathematics from Carthage College. In a few weeks she’ll start work at Aspiritech, a non-profit company that hires adults on the autism spectrum to provide software testing and quality assurance services to corporate clients across the U.S.
